Characters can also use the Physical Attack 20% Up support skill, and Frenetic Fighting, which increases the maximum hit count from 16 to 32. Since Dual Wield applies to all these additional weapon slots, it means all four weapons won't lose 50% of the power from their attacks. Weapons can be assigned to the head, body, and hand slots. Charioteer allows a character to Triple or Quad Wield weapons as it levels up. The player will have to look for a way to deal with BP management for this pairing, such as using some Red Mage support abilities. The Pirate's Provoke works well with any of the Swordmaster's counters.

Using Amped Strike with Free Lunch will allow the character to cause a lot of damage. Swordmaster and Pirate as a combination can allow for Provoke, Counter Attack, Amped Strike, and Free Lunch. Blaze of Glory deals four times the standard attack damage to enemies if they knock the character out. The lower the Dark Knight's health is the more damage the character deals. Adrenaline Rush raises physical attack and defense for five turns when health is below 20%. The Dark Knight's Adversity raises physical, magical attacks and magical defense over three turns each time the player takes damage equal to a quarter of their health. Pirate allows you to use the Provoke command, which makes enemies attack that character. Try a Pirate and Dark Knight combination, with Pirate as the Primary Class. If the player finds a Job is taking too long to level up, they should switch to a new Job. Those who stick with one Job class will miss out on all of the potential abilities that they could gain by switching Jobs throughout Bravely Second: End Layer. Players should avoid using a single Job through the entire game.
Characters earn new abilities with each Job level increase. Jobs level up separate of the player's character. The player must have a well-rounded party that can heal, mete out physical attacks, and uses magic. Some jobs have abilities that better serve as Secondary classes.
